Anne Carroll and Elaine Blauvelt — Book Sales

Anne Carrol and Elaine Blauvelt play an instrumental part in making the Friends' various Book Sales so successful. They examine the donated books and media items for quality and marketability, choosing the materials that will appeal to the public. Elaine and Anne then see that the items are transported to the sale sites and display them in an attractive manner. The skill with which they perform these various jobs is responsible for the success of these fundraising events.

Christina Brow — Plant Sale

Christina Brow lives in Milwaukie with her husband and dog. She enjoys gardening, trail running, quilting, and traveling.

As the Plant Sale Coordinator , Christina manages every aspect of the sale, including procuring the plants and trees to be sold, helping set the dates and location for the sale, and running the sale with volunteers.

Sarah House — Membership and newsletter

As the Friends' Membership Coordinator, Sarah House starts off each year by planning and implementing Membership Drives — all of which have been extremely successful. The Friends now have over 300 members and took in over $10,000 last year in dues and related donations because of Sarah’s hard work.

Gina Saracco and nancy Tice — Sorting, pricing and sales

Gina Saracco and Nancy Tice work behind the scenes and with the public to ensure successful Book Sales. They help with the sorting, pricing and processing of donated materials

Alisa Grandy — Library Book store

As the Library Book Store Coordinator, Alisa Grandy is responsible for all facets of the Store's operation -- including staffing it with volunteers, choosing and displaying merchandise and publicizing its materials and services..

Donna Fuller and Nancy Wittig- Sunday and Quarterly Sales

In addition to serving as President and Vice President of the Friends, Nancy and Donna plan , schedule and supervise the Sunday and Quarterly Book Sales.

 
 
 

Joyce Routson - Volunteer Coordinator

As the Friends’ Volunteer Coordinator, Joyce Routson assists in the assignment and training of new volunteers. She writes a monthly newsletter for volunteers called the Volunteer Voice and helps put on the popular Volunteer Appreciation Events. Joyce spent many years writing on deadline for a number of newspapers and other publications. She also works a shift in the bookstore and Joyce’s mother was a dedicated Ledding Library volunteer.
